Katy Perry Announces The Release Date For Her New Album!

All you Katy Perry fans Katycats out there including me- here’s what you’ve been waiting for! On Monday (July 29) Katy Perry decided to kick start the week by revealing the title and release date of her new album on a huge gold truck in Los Angeles. One of Katy’s friends, Tarek Chamma then posted a photo to her Instagram which shows the gold truck with the words, "KATY PERRY • PRISM • 10•22•13" written on the side with the caption, "My girl's new album is announced", celebrity-gossip.net reports. 

The news was later confirmed by Katy herself when she encourage her fans to go look for the truck, tweeting, ”Find the #PRISM semi, take a picture and I'll RT you. Don't worry, Los Angeles is just the first stop on the map."
