Pretty Little Liars Summer Finale: Sasha Pieterse Reveals "You Find Out If Alison is Alive or Dead!"

Got a secret, can you keep it?
Because we certainly can't! With the Pretty Little Liars summer finale just hours away, we're dying to tell you about all of the shocking twists and turns that are in store in for audiences tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
So to help us share all of these pretty little exclusive details, we chatted with the always-lovely Sasha Pieterse and asked her the question that we have been desperately wondering for the past four years: Is Ali alive?! From the trick-or-treat filled Halloween special, to CeCe's (Vanessa Ray) twisted personality, and Ali's almost-fling with Toby (Keegan Allen), we've got everything you need to know before tuning in to tonight's sure-to-be jaw-dropping episode of Pretty Little Liars.

Straight away, Pieterse tells us that tonight's events are going to leave you both breathless and hungry for more saying, "It is shocking, it honestly is! They're calling it World War A for a very good reason and what's cool about this season is Marlene [King] has said this is the season of answers and she is exactly right."
The 17-year-old continues, "The season finale honestly is amazing and I think the fans are going to flip over what happens, it's mind-blowing and the writers are doing such a good job of tying everything together and no storyline has gone cold."
The powers-that-be at PLL have been dropping teasers all summer long alluding to the fact that our dearly departed Ali DiLaurentis could actually be alive. Pieterse coyly reveals that we will definitely get the answer to this highly anticipated question, but we'll have to wait until October to know for sure.

"You will get suspicions, if you will. A peak in the summer finale, but you will find out for sure in the Halloween episode," she teases. "You find out if Alison is alive or dead and I think that is going to be a really cool thing for me and a really big treat, so I'm excited to see what the fans think of that episode."
Is anyone else totally freaking out right now?! We will finally learn the truth! The actress reveals that like all PLL finales, audiences will "of course" be left with a huge cliffhanger, but this time we know that our answer is just a few months away.
To help curb our appetite, Pieterse teases that tonight's episode may reveal more details about the mysterious night that Ali disappeared. "There are people that she saw on that night that you would never never expect," she says. "Alison had a lot of secrets of her own and she was really good at keeping them and obviously there was someone after her, or people after her and there's a reason for that. She has blackmailed so many people." Yikes!

Shifting over to another big mystery, King has promised fans that we will finally learn the identity of Red Coat in tonight's mid-season finale, and as of right now, all signs point to one manipulative blonde: Cece Drake. Pieterse explains that fans will get a deeper peak into Cece's motives and her "twisted" relationship with Ali.
"You'll definitely find out more about that in the nature of Cece and whether she's good or bad and kind of what's behind her and what's making her tick. Is she behind it all? Is she being controlled by someone? You'll definitely know very soon what is going on which is pretty spectacular," The star says.

We also made sure to share with the Pieterse our latest pretty little theory: We saw that Ali had the hots for Ian (Ryan Merriman), and once tried to smooch Toby, so does this mean that our competitive and boy-crazed Ali also had a fling with another one of Spencer's (Troian Bellisario) men? That's right, we're talking about Wren (Julian Morris)!

The actress slyly reveas that we could be on to something saying, "You know what you could possibly be. That's a really good theory and that's the thing that Spencer and Alison were always head-to-head." Pieterse continues, "Wren is very interesting and sly character and I know a lot of people like him but a lot of people don't and I think there's good reason for both. I think he's kind of slimy and I think that he kind of swings for both teams."

With Wren's allegiance up in the air, it will be interesting to see his tipping point and Pierterse says it's definitely on the horizon. "He gets nasty but at the same time there's something that makes him tick and there's a reason that he's doing that. You'll definitely find out who's and who and there are so many answers coming out in this season."
