It’s the ‘Harry Potter’ World Like You’ve Never Seen Before
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios, Florida is planning on a Diagon Alley expansion come 2014, with construction beginning this summer, but it looks like the real world in which we all live in is beating the theme park to the punch with its own view of the shopping area created by J.K. Rowling.
As reported by Mashable, Google now allows for the exploration of the Diagon Alley set from the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London, England. “In Street View mode [on Google Maps], you can see 360-degree images of Ollivanders Wand Shop, Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes joke shop and Mr. Mulpepper’s Apothecary.”
With the Invisibility Cloak coming to life in recent weeks, and the 15th anniversary of the series‘ introduction to the United States this year, it’s almost as if Harry Potter never ended with Deathly Hallows: Part 2. Almost.
For more of the Diagon Alley set, head on over to Google Maps. What do you think of the behind the scenes *magic*? Are you planning on taking the tour anytime soon? Spill, Potterheads!
